Please do not muck up the traffic situation any more than bike lanes already have. We live here too and bikers already have an alternative route - side streets!

There are side streets more suited to bike lanes that 35th Ave NE. Retain the parking for customers of the small businesses who depend on good access to street parking.

This is detrimental to many more people than it helps. There is little bike traffic on 35th and there are good options along that corridor. This plan will hurt every small business along 35th and will make the library impossible to use due to lack of parking while putting more traffic on residential streets with people trying to avoid cyclists and find parking.

removing parking on 35th will really affect elderly/slower moving people trying to utilize the NE library. Parking is already difficult in that area.

This is a most ridiculous plan. Leave our busy arterial alone! I am a bicyclist and I consistently use the green way on 38/39th. There is no need for a bike lane on 35th

This city plan is absolutely unnecessary and will hurt local businesses. There are safe bike lanes running parallel to 35th. 35th is needed for cars, busses and parking for the businesses. Please keep it that way.

Please don't take the parking away in one more neighborhood. We need to be able to get to our local businesses. There are many seniors in this neighborhood and families taking several children to school and sports events and practices, and errand running in our community. This would greatly clog 35th. The cyclists have many alternatives. Please don't ruin the usability of our neighborhood.

It really makes no sense. We have a dedicated bike lane on 39th NE. Side streets offer a better option. And you do not have to impact the businesses that make the neighborhood a neighborhood.

I live close to 35th near NE Branch Library, and drive 35th many times weekly. City plan ill-advised; I support "Save 35th" suggestions for the street. Also, occasional biker who finds 35th inhospitable, but other safe routes paralleling 35th in the neighborhood make it unnecessary to try to make 35th a bikeway.

Adding bike lanes and removing parking on 35th AVE NE is not needed. We live on 36th Ave NE and are happy to have the bikers who come off of the Burke Gilman path and along our street. Much preferred to the frustrated drivers driving too fast who will lose a commute lane on 35th if you add bike lanes where people do NOT want to bike anyway. No bike lanes on 35th Ave NE!

I 100% support the Specific Changes Needed as stated in this petition. Unlike some parts of the city, NE Seattle has no real neighborhood business district, just the important strips along 35th and Ravenna. Also, 35th is the central N-S arterial. We need these businesses to thrive and be car accessible, while other routes are already set up for bikes. Lastly, I have never been a fan of ideological policies that are set without any economic justification and despite obvious higher priorities. Boy were we sold a bill of goods when Rob Johnson ran.
