Given the city's projected budget shortfall, and community and SDOT opposition, there is no reason to redesign 35th in this manner.

35th works as it is. Why mess it up? I am a bike commuter, and would totally opt for using 36th or 34th instead. That makes much more sense.

Proposed improvements will increase danger to pedestrians, ruin access to the Public Library and duplicate already existing bike lane.

I ride to work and back daily and am very pleased using 39th. I believe loosing parking on the West side of 35th is a HUGE mistake. This will push the most vulnerable Seattle Public Library users (small children and elderly) into crossing a very busy street without a stop light in either direction for several blocks when using the NE branch of SPL.

I bike commute every day and happily use 39th Ave NE. Building bike lanes on 35th is a waste of time and money and has a negative impact on owner-operated businesses that are important to neighborhood vitality.

35th is not the street for a bike lane. There are side streets that would work as well without damaging small businesses.

No business killing bike lanes on 35th Ave NE. Put them on the nearby side streets. The City Council and SDOT are prioritizing bicycles out of proportion to other street users and constituents. Represent the rest of us!

Bike lanes belong on side streets not a main arterial like 35th I am a bike commuter and I am against bike lanes on 35th

The heart of this community will suffer because of the parking loss of its local businesses. Biking access nearby makes this more than foolish spending.
