As a cyclist I would not ride on 35th and prefer our greenways. Let's keep our parking for our businesses!

This does not seem to be a very well thought out plan at all. People that live near it should have been given more consideration. They already have a bike lane on 39th that ends near Burke-Gilman Trail. The bike lane on 65th St across from Magnusson Park is hardly used at all and takes half the road and is more difficult for buses to maneuver around.

I live on 35th and have biker to work for 20 years. I believe the current plan is unsafe and doesn't give bikes enough room. Put the bike routes on side streets. Preserve street parking for people w limited mobility.

On street parking is absolutely critical to several places that I shop/patronize. Lack of on street paring is a significant inconvenience. There are several bike routes in the immediate vicinity. This bike lane is more than an inconvenience.

Putting the bike lane and removing all the parking spots on the very busy 35th Ave NE does not make that street safer. Also, it makes driving more complicated on that street spcially in rush hours. There are so many small and large businesses along this street and so many elementary and middle schoolers cross this busy street twice a day!

this artery is thickly populated with small businesses, nearby schools and houses of worship. it is also one of the few alternate routes that permit travelers to circle around Lake Washington, an open secret often used when floating bridges are too congested. adding bike lanes would remove vital parking for commerce, access for emergency vehicles in case of religious attacks, and even prevent access to one of the best public library branches in the State. demolishing community life for the sake of millions of dollars in construction when cyclists have a greenway nearby? i'm a native and deeply resent this social engineering.

Slowing down traffic on 35th by adding bike lanes is ludicrous. Put the bikes on a less busy street. Keep the arterials moving - traffic is bad enough already without taking away lanes

For the sanity and the safety of the people keep bike lanes off 35th. Let common sense be the guide and not some vastly out of touch and inconsiderate plan.

As a cyclist, I am against this. 35th is dangerous and I don’t want to see cyclists crammed into a major arterial. Take the side streets...slowly and safely.
