Already a very dangerous street. Red lights are run regularly. Congestion everywhere. Very limited parking for business even now. This should be put to vote.

The bike lanes are not wanted in this neighborhood. Do an accurate polling and you will see that the majority want safe crossings, more pedestrian focus and the ability to shop effectively in our thriving neighborhood.

I am a cyclist. I cycle daily to Beacon Hill from my home close to 35th. I would never cycle on 35th. I have the greenway or any other side street of my choosing. Stop this ridiculous waste of money and energy today.

34th is a perfect place for bike lanes! 35 is a terrible place for bike lanes. Narrow lanes on 35th will kill flow of traffic whenever someone wants to turn left or vehicle makes a stop.

The impact this plan has on our neighborhood would be catastrophic. It would force cars onto side streets to avoid traffic, endangering the pedestrians and bike riders. The traffic on 35th would be even more congested. No doubt, more mortorists in frustration would “blow” through street lights. Our businesses would suffer from lack of parking.
It is an ill advised plan, especially considering there are alternate bike routes just a few blocks away that we have already implemented and paid for.
Please reconsider.

Please keep our parking as is - eliminating parking has created more angry drivers, more congestion and makes the neighborhood less liveable. It also more dangerous for cyclists as drivers take the side roads (using Waze) to avoid traffic.

As a biker, I prefer the bicycle greenway approach on 38th/39th. I feel that is a wonderful way to commute to work. And I agree that shared bike lanes on main thoroughfares, force traffic onto residential roads posing a risk to our children.

I oppose the plan to reconfigure NE 35th. It will cause serious problems for just about everyone especially the residents for years to come. It makes no sense.

The 'Plan' is insanity. Currently the 35th St corridor is traffic gridlock during heavy usage hours. Reducing parking to one side only is chaos. How do southbound drivers park their cars. How do you make cross traffic turns into businesses without further backing up gridlocked traffic. I'm a bicyclist, I live on 89th St and there are nothing but alternative, quiet and safe streets to use. I 'Never" bike 35th as it's an extremely heavy boulevard. The plan should be scrapped, bicycling 'fixes' removed from 'thought' planning. Fix 35th traffic, but don't incorporate bicycle lanes to add to the compression!!

I am physically disabled. It would be far easier for a bicyclist to go over a block to ride tan for me to walk a block to shop— many days I couldn’t. Save the parking for those who need it, and not for healthy cyclists!

I am a daily bike rider (110 mi. by Thurs this week). Lanes planned for 35th NE are useless, because they don't connect to any extended routes, such as the BG trail. Use Greenways on side streets. I use the 39th NE greenway daily-- like this morning. Go look at the street: there isn't enough room there to do what you want. Also, as with NE 65th, taking away parking will badly hurt businesses that we in the neighborhood want and need.

I oppose SDOT's plan to reconfigure 35th Ave. Bikers can use adjoining avenues to travel. I live and own a home in Wedgewood (near NE 75th and 30th).
