I am a regular bike commuter but like the greenway on 39th and would not want to ride on 35th even with a bike lane

Bicycle lanes are using too large a proportion of street funds already, when repairs should take precedence. The bike lane on the east side of 35th Ave. is dangerous for cars needing to make right turns. However, when checking for bicycles before moving into that lane before making a right turn, I have never yet seen a bicycle using that lane!

Currently there is no parking near the 35th Ave library and no parking in the area because all of the residents must now park on the side streets. Impossible to park near the library. It will be worse when the new bike lanes are installed.

We need small business to keep Wedgwood a viable meighborhood. Bikers do not need bike lanes on 35th ave NE, they can be safer using side streets.

Please DO NOT add bike lanes on 35th Ave NE. This will drastically change our Wedgwood environment and will cause a bigger traffic nightmare than now exists.

Instead of repairing potholes and helping pedestrians to cross, the city's bicycle lobby is spending our money to harm local businesses and citizens.

The petition responds effectively to my issues. Don't make this another 75th St, bike lanes with no bikers street.

I am a bike rider. We don;t need a bike lane on 35th. They can ride a block or two off of 35th right now. Bike riders do not own Seattle.

Force feeding us with bike lanes on 35th will also pose further dangers by squeezing us in our lanes with buses who don’t stay in their lanes, as it is. All of us can’t afford ‘toy cars’ when we need a larger vehicle for carpools, and hauling our plants, Children, and groceries. Businesses need 35th to be opened for coming & going by customers , and deliveries, & loading & unloading. We can’t all be on bikes to carry our groceries, etc.. It’s clueless to think we can all be in our speedos for biking to all our local needs.

I don't ride on 35th. With or without bike lanes It is an arterial. As always, there are quiet streets one block away that are fine for bikes. Stop splashing paint all over. The "greenways" have always been there.

Bad, bad idea!!! There is a designated road 2 blocks down for bikes. Completely unnecessary.

Please do not destroy this singularly lovely community with its library and independent businesses with bike lanes.
