Ive lived a few doors down from this residence and knew the owner. PLEASE save this historic house from demolition!!! We dont need more density and loss of historic buildings and houses in Jamaica Plain!

I grew up 2 houses down from this historic structure and it would be a true shame to see it knocked down and replaced with soul-less condominiums. Preserve our historic buildings!

We live 2 houses up the street. Have know the owner since 1983; please please preserve his home and his legacy as a journalist and historian. Please look up David Alan Mittlel, Jr. (and Sr.) - both important to the history of Jamaica Plain.

Please keep the historical homes and original builds in JP intact. We don't need to be filled with new modern designs (and the ecological impact) if we can keep existing structures!

In Michigan, where I grew up, buildings that are not modern, are torn down; their historic value is not taken into account. I have been under the impression that Bostonians have a different aesthetic. Yes, this building must be saved.

I’ve lived in JP for 33 years and knew the owner. I restored my home not nearly as old (1905) but there are precious few of these properties left for posterity
