The demolition plans for the Taste of Country building have been officially withdrawn by Discount Drug Mart. I am deeply appreciative of your commitment to preserving this historic landmark. We should remain attentive to the future use of the property to ensure our heritage stays protected.

SAVE 200 YEAR OLD TASTE OF COUNTRY BUILDING. Discount Drug Mart wants to lease not buy the land of the former Taste Of Country and demolish the historic building. By leasing if the business fails then they can pull out and leave another vacant building. Please sign the petition to save this grand old building. It is available at the Courthouse Inn, Bettie Lee Dance Studio, Eagles and the Lisbon historical society in the train station behind Bye and Bye.

when considering demolishing a Lisbon Landmark of Historical nature, you have to consider whether the building is salvageable or if it is beyond repair. This building should stand. The drug store can build their ugly lack of design cube at the old Baronzzi gas station property if they are wanting to create more traffic issues for Route 45.

I grew up in Lisbon. I did not appreciate our history until I got older. It would be such a shame to destroy a beautiful building with so much history when it just needs a little TLC.

I am number 6 out of 8 children and my memories are few compared to my older siblings as well as many others. MY parents, George and Mary Arnoto with many of our relatives and friends made this Landmark a Home. Great Food, Conversations and Laughter fills those Rooms:-) I smile & reminisce as I write these words. Restore History and Not Replace!

My mom would have been 100 this year (Marian Ewing Liggitt). She was raised in this house. Lisbon is losing so much of its history....please don't lose The Pine Tree Inn.

Lisbon does not need another drug store. Lisbon needs to retain the buildings that tell its history, and restore those buildings to their past glory.

I have such great memories of this place. My youngest daughter was married there! Let's make it great again.

Please save this historical building. It is 200 years old. Lisbon is losing its history and being paved over. Restore and reuse these beautiful buildings.
