Hollywood has quickly become a city with little regard for her historical past. It is sad to see such a beautiful and charming place be sold off and pieced out into high rises and overly developed city. The city has repeatedly ignored the wishes of the residents by destroying historic buildings and cramming as much money into their own pockets as possible in the process. We need leadership that cares and protects our community.

No more new buildings. New buildings not only destroy the environment but also gentrify entire communities, not to mention the disgusting mining involved in new building materials. Most new buildings don't compare to be as durable as most old buildings. A 100 year old historic house has a better chance at withstanding a hurricane then a new building does.
