My family grew up next door( 1309 Harrison St) to this historic home. Our home was updated and restored by a wonderful family who respected the original features and added a modern addition. We commended them respecting the historic value of the home. This is what should happen to Melinas & Grandfathers cherished home.
There are three existing structures that could support the developer's goal of rentals.
This home has stood strong through all that mother nature sent south Florida
If this demolition is allowed to go forward you will be destroying part of the soul of Hollywood.
I have return to Hollywood every year and visit with Elsie.
I will be there in January and would be availing ti speak to anyone further about my thoughts on this.

My hometown is not respectful of laws regarding historic property. Anyone overriding the rule/ordinance ought to be removed from public office.
