Grew up in Hollywood 1969-1981, parents moved out in 1998. My hometown and it needs to be preserved and not have it’s history demolished.

It’s a small piece of history that we still have left. It should be something tourists get to visit.

If there is ever a time to demonstrate the preservation of a Historical Home, Elsie Johns Home is certainly up there in the top 5 within the Hollywood Lakes Area. Please take the time to send in City personnel to evaluate and visit this home in person and not from behind a desk. You will find that it a home with so much potential and character, so it can continue to tell the stories of Hollywoods past.

This historic home should be preserved. How many vacation rentals do we need in the lakes? It is out of control!

Elsie, her family and their store were an institution and pioneers of our city.
The home is a true Florida gem.
Do not touch this home.
