Saskatchewan Government Insurance: Modify the Safe Driver Recognition Program (Penalty Zone)
If a Saskatchewan driver is in the Safety Driver Recognition Program: Penalty Zone, she or he remains in the program for 3 consecutive years. We, the People of Saskatchewan, demand the Government of Saskatchewan to modify the SDR: Penalty Zone, from 3 years to 1 year. In addition, We the People, demand any monies paid to the program, to be refunded to the driver if the driver has a clean driving record for one (1) year. The driver has paid his or her fine, there is no need to be in a Penalty Zone longer than 1 year - especially for 3 consecutive years.

I honestly never thought this would gain this much steam but here we are and it is wild to think about how many people are feeling the same sting from these outdated penalties. It just goes to show that when enough regular folks get annoyed by a policy that makes zero sense we can actually start to tilt the scales toward something fair again.

Three years is way to long for one mistake. You pay the ticket and then you just keep paying for years after. It is basically a money grab pure and simple.
Double and triple and quadruple dipping is the most shameful thing about this program. That makes it clear that it is not for safety, but a way to hose people of their hard earned money in the name of profit.
I am now on my 6th year and my safety rating is still not perfect. What's up with that?
Yeah, this is insanity! I got a 126$ speeding ticket. For going 9 over speed limit, the ticket costs me a total of $976!!! Minus points raping me, rich get richer and poor get more poor!
Ridiculous. They take your money twice and keep you stuck in the penalty zone forever even when you drive safe. Enough is enough.
It's a corporation made by the people for the people...we made it...

This system is flawed in so many ways don’t thinks it’s fair to have to go three years with out a ticket to go back to zero I paid a 1000 plus my stop sign ticket that’s a little crazy
