Too much impact on the already overburdened road caused by all the private school traffic. It's already difficult for residents to get through.

With already much congestion and FIVE growing schools on Sardis Road and several churches with daycare facilities, the focus needs to be on NOT adding to our significant traffic problem. Please stay with single family zoning!

This is my neighborhood. I live behind the proposed site. Already congestion on Sardis is awful not to mention quality of life for us and our wildlife. Please do not allow this.

I live in a neighborhood off Sardis Road, and It can be very difficult to turn on to Sardis Road during morning and evening commute times. Unless there are plans to widen Sardis Road and install a traffic light (i.e. infrastructure to keep up with this kind of development), development along this section of this two-lane, busy road should remain single family homes. Higher density housing also would not fit with the character of Sardis Road, which is lined with single-family homes, schools, and churches. Please say no to this rezoning request.

Can hardly get out on Sardis Road now from Brackenbury morning or evening. After 4 pm can not get to Matthews without a horrible long wait. Traffic is so dangerous now, and with more old drivers it will only get worse. Traffic at 5 pm backs up from Hwy 51 all the way to Charlotte Christian School on some days. Please no more peanut size lots allowed. Gov Co can control traffic to an extent by having common sense minimum lot sizes.

Been here 40 years. This is unnecessary and ridiculous. We have enough traffic with Monroe rd.

As a long time resident in Sardis, 51 years, I am opposed to this rezoning application. It takes us from the country flavor we enjoy to being on the brink of higher congestion, more traffic and setting a trend of taking our larger home sites and converting to multi-family. This is senseless and once again illustrates the lack of planning and the lack on interest in caring for our community. Get a grip, VOTE NO! Traffic doesn’t flow already. Wildlife habitat will be destroyed. Doesn’t fit in single family neighborhood.

I live in Sardis Forest and will be impacted. Our neighborhood has already been devalued and compromised by Charlotte and Matthews rezoning in last 5 years. Enough. I oppose.

With the Fletcher School right across the street this is already a very difficult area to navigate in the morning, the density with only add to the problem. IF you look at the Mecklenburg County zoning map there isn't any multifamily zones for miles, this shouldn't be the first!

Traffic is a BIG problem and this proposal will only make it worse. At rush hour it's almost impossible to get out of Lansdowne Development during morning & night rush hours. Please DON'T BUILD.

Clearing trees and creating more traffic plus increasing taxes..it seems city planners want to create California problems in NC.
