This is absurd its even in consideration. The environmental impact is only the beginning of the issues...

Seriously? No rezoning!

This lot is in a neighborhood of single family homes. Traffic is already a nightmare during rush hour in the morning and afternoon. Condos will only add to that problem.

Are you crazy- traffic is a nightmare already at Brackenberry & Sardis. Now you will have another 25 cars entering and exiting at an already extremely dangerous intersection.

This Rezoning Petition also appears to be "Spot Rezoning". We totally oppose the Rezoning Petition. Everette and Virginia Curlee 8635 Sardis Road

This plan is totally unacceptable. The entire neighborhood is single family housing. To have townhouses wedged into a small neighborhood would cause traffic problems and would devalue existing properties. Rezoning would set a precedent for the area. Please keep zoning R-3. Anything more would be a disaster.

The lot in question sits directly in the middle of an established, mature single-family neighborhood which has been in existence since 1979. It would completely change the cohesive look and peaceful, natural feel of the neighborhood, thereby negatively impacting values for homeowners. In addition, this lot sits on a high-traffic thoroughfare directly across from a private school, with parents dropping off and picking up their children using a very busy two-way turn lane. The addition of senior drivers (55+) entering and exiting via this two-way turn lane would massively increase the possibility of great tragedy. The lot is zoned single-family for a very good reason, and should stay that way. Thank you.

I am opposed to rezoning this lot. This proposal would squeeze in 12 townhouses on a plot of land that borders 3 streets of Oak Creek Estates. It would have a negative impact to the neighborhood.

I am unconditionally opposed to this rezoning. I live in the neighborhood and the proposed rezoning does not meet the city/county regulations for set backs and will negatively impact property values. The owner could have sold the property to a developer who would have put in single family homes but did not sell to them because she wanted to invest in the townhomes. She certainly did not have the communities best interests at heart

Plan would be a devastation to the habitat and a major disturbance to the neighborhood.

This project makes no sense for the surrounding neighborhood and it is NOT consistent with the Charlotte South District Plan. The proposed project presents negative issues with regards to: high density, storm water, traffic safety and environmental impact. VOTE NO to any form of this project.

Please do not rezone this property! It is a wedge-shaped property that is bordered on 3 sides by single-family homes in a stable neighborhood. This would reduce property values for existing homes. There are no comparable developments anywhere nearby. Not a good plan for seniors who would prefer 1-level homes.

Sardis Road is one of the most beautiful roads in Charlotte and all the construction and hence removal of more trees is unimaginable. They have already clear cut 3 or more acres or trees for this project. Please no more. Not to mention the horrible congestion on Sardis Road which this would only make worse.

The scale of this project will add a heavy burden on an already over-congested road. Traffic safety will be compromised adding risk to the drivers using this road daily, including the Fletcher school that sits directly on Sardis Rd.

It's a stupid project. Will devalue surrounding homes. Not appropriate area for 55+ community.
