Not only is this inconsistent with the South District Plan it is not supported by the General Development Plan.

As homeowners who would be directly affected by the proposed rezoning of 8515 Sardis Road, we are OPPOSED to this project. Say 'NO' to this rezoning!

This project is exactly why zoning is necessary, to keep over-development from ruining the quality of life for those who already live in the area.

Charlotte needs to stop rolling out all the green and trees areas of this city out for developers! When will we figure out that this is not smart development? STOP

I agree with other comments. The plan doesn't make sense for this area. Adding that many homes in that size area is excessive and unnecessary.

Just because you can cram all those townhomes in that space doesn't mean it should be done.

We are heartsick that this beautiful piece of green land is being trashed for profit. We live very near this corner, and dread the traffic and noise such a development would bring.

The increase in population density in this area has reached a pace that is dangerously ahead of infrastructure to support it. Within a one mile radius, there are at least 10 projects where for every one residence that is torn down 6 - 15 replace it.

I am very much opposed to these townhouses. I have lived in that area since 1994 and have seen much development over the years, but that is a lot in an entire area of single family homes and not zoned for townhouses and should not be rezoned for townhouses. The traffic is horrible for commuters as it is. We, as residents of the High Timbers neighborhood 100% oppose this rezoning. While we agree affordable housing is needed, Sardis Road is not the place for it.

School traffic makes it difficult for my children to get through the Brackenberry intersection. In addition Fletcher School doesn't need more traffic.

The traffic is horrendous from Sardis Road North light all the way to Hwy 51. I see it 5 days a week. No to adding more traffic.

I so object on the grounds that traffic in this area is horrendous already.
