No rush on this matter. Cost increases are excessive. Protection for Oak trees needs to be observed.

The city is very anxious to spend our hard earned money behind our back. Where is transparency! Crane was awarded to do the plans before we even knew about it.
We don't want to destroy any more of our historic history.

Why is the city rushing this $$$$$ project? I agree with those who say let’s first evaluate and prioritize the city’s needs. If/when the time comes to prioritize a center such as this, I agree with Mrs. Peck’s letter to the Tribune suggesting that we consider the Stoneman site, instead of adding congestion to the Huntington/West intersection, where there are TWO SCHOOLS. Finally, when it’s time to do anything with the Woman’s Club building, why would we change the architectural style? Who wants all the buildings in San Marino to match? So we can look like a newer city? Huntington Beach, anyone?
