This petition is to show the neighborhood support to lower the residential speed limit on Sandal Way and Sandalwood Drive to 20 MPH. We are on the Warrick County Commissioners Agenda for July 13, 2015 at 4:00 pm at the Boonville Court House.
By signing this petition you are consenting that you are at least 18 years of age and are in agreement that the speed limit in this neighborhood should be lowered to 20 MPH.

I really thought this might just be a small neighborhood thing but looking at the list now it feels like people everywhere finally agree that cars are flying down Sandal Way way too fast. It feels like we actually have a real shot at being heard by the commissioners now that so many neighbors have jumped in.

There are too many children & pets in this neighborhood for a 30 mph speed limit. It should be at 20 mph. Telephone Road that Sandal Way connects to is 30 mph.
I agree. Speed limits are a good start, along with semi regular patrols of the area to keep people in check.
Very necessary - lots of children playing in this neighborhood, everyone needs to slow down.
First the speeding and hopefully then the loud music late at night.
The speed limit needs to be changed to keep the children safe when they are playing outside.

Please lower the speed limit. There are plenty of families here with young children, please consider the consequences of your lack of involvement.

This is a residential neighborhood with cars parked on both sides of the street but not at every house. It may need to be lowered to 15 mph. I have a grandchild that comes to visit & we have taught her to stop & standstill when cars come by. They drive too fast.
