1/4/21. Awakened at 3am by train horns. Still awake. This is what I'm doing. Good luck with this initiative. I live in Springfield.

San Marco resident. Support quiet zone during night hours. Sound is less needed at night when crossing have bright visual lights and crossing guards.

I live about a mile from the tracks, but I still hear the train horns blaring loudly all times of the day and night and I can’t imagine the horror of living right next to them. They interrupt my sleep often. People deserve peace in their homes.

I'm past fed up. When ur on a schedule, it makes you late quite frequently. They lay on the horn too long I don't get a full nite sleep. Too many trains duty day. When passing thru, they move thru on turtle speed. So sick of the loud noise. It's constant!! No Peace

There is no reason for these trains to continue to severely disrupt the quality of life in San Marco and beyond to the South and North banks.

The horns are loud, and they happen late. The San Marco community values safety, there must be a way to keep people safe without tearing up our sleep and happiness every night.

The train whistles at 4 am are absolute excessive and loud, even a half mile away. This isn’t my complaint for no reason. Such starting noises in the middle of the night trigger PTSD and the there is no more sleep to be had. I fell right out of bed the first night I spent in out new house in San Marco.

It's astonishing how loud the train's whistle is. Ive lived in my house here for over 20 years and I know it
was never this loud back then. It has absolutely progressively gotten louder.

Hoping so dearly that the train noise stops at night. I haven’t had a decent night of sleep in months...since moving to San Marco.

seems egregiously loud and prolonged. San Marco is a nice, family neighborhood - we'd rather acquire the proper equipment to make the crossings safe vs listening to that train horn/whistle. thanks.

These trains are noise pollution. Even if they could tone down some of the noise.
