The new ferry reservation system makes getting to and from the islands very unreliable when I am required to take the ferry on short notice which happens regularly for work. It may be good for tourists who have the luxury to plan ahead many days in advance, but it neglects people like me who are required to regularly take the ferry with less than 24 hours notice. Tourists will come either way and the islands won't lose money without the reservation system. However, people like me now risk missing work and or losing money.

I also think that the only benefits that come out of this is for the Hotels and tourist . And the we don't matter . Reservations are not making it easy for people that don't have a computer or a smart phone .

This system is not islander friendly at all. Having a Dr. appt. last longer than planned or extra tests run causes a charge for missing the boat. Needs lots of work.

My families' limited opportunities to go off island for food shopping or fun are extremely more rare now. We can't even plan a weekend getaway for the summer because the summer system is not up and running yet, and we have serious doubts that it will work in our favor when it is. This reservation system only benefits tourists...not islanders. Let me wait in line like I have been doing for the past 30 years.
