It was our intention to place our children in Catholic school when they were old enough but we will not allow the Diocese or any school to force our children to mask or be vaccinated for Covid. There is no science behind masking or vaccinating children for Covid. Please protect our children from this unnecessary governmental overreach. Do not destroy our chances to safely and confidently choose a Catholic education for our children.

Just to be clear on a few things. The diocese is hiding behind California. As a desperate entity they have the means to choose what they adopt for quarantine, masks, etc. To mandate vaccines that have no data for children is overreach and premature. Let’s talk in 6 years when we have that data and let parents choose what is best for there children. If you are vaccinated than you are in theory protected. COVID is not going away! I stand with Jesus. Faith over fear. What would he be saying if he saw all these kids with masks?

My children will not be getting the vaccine, they both had Covid and have natural immunity. I pay for their education and will certainly pull them out of school if the mandates happens.

Why are we pushing a Vaccine for the young when there is over a 99% survival rate. Not to mention other counties are pausing the vaccine to 30 years and younger finding it causes Heart issues.
We need to protect our young, not pump them with something that can hinder their development in the future.

I am not against the vaccine for the risk group, but I am questioning whether it’s right to vaccinate our children which seems not backed by science and all the evidences, other than the corporate interests. And I am definitely against the mandate.

If mandated, we will pull our child out of catholic school and move to another state where it’s not mandated. AND they will loose ALL the new attendees coming from public school because they will have the same policies so why stay and go to public school for free. A high percentage of kids that came this year to Catholic school felt this was the only way to avoid the ridiculous mandates from the Governor and most likely will go back if all schools are the same. The Catholic Church needs to rise above and we need religion more then ever. The world needs religion more then ever and we have more people coming to their schools.
