Freedom is our God given right. No one should be able to mandate an experimental vaccine (no long term studies) onto our children in order for them to attend a Catholic school. We chose a Catholic education for our children instead of a public school because we believed the church’s teachings would protect our children and give the parents authority to have a say in what is best for their child. The Diocese of SD needs to stand up to all mandates (which are not actual laws) and protect God’s most precious gift - a child. I pray this will be the outcome.

We know why Newsom is mandating the vax for schoolchildren. He received a $2 million donation from the CA teacher’s union for his recall election. He’s not following science. He’s following the money. My children are not at serious risk from covid and they will not get this shot. I am praying for you, Bishop.

Please consider ALL the ramifications of forcing us to vaccinate our children when there has not been enough research provided to prove it is safe for all. Give us, the parents, the right to choose what we feel is best for our families. I am not an anti-VAX her in the least, but being forced to do this with we don’t know what the ramifications down the line to our children will be is just cruel.

Children are NOT at risk for this virus… the child death rate in California per the COVID-19.ca.gov website is 0%. Nation-wide there have been only 352 child deaths with COVID and per the Johns Hopkins study in July 2021, headed by Dr. Marty Makary of Harvard, not one died without Pre-existing medical conditions such as leukemia. The other vaccines on the child immunization record achieve 2 outcomes~ they fully immunize the host and they fully prevent transmission~~ according to the CDC director Rochelle Walensky, the COVID-19 vaccine does neither. Rather, it carries with it a very serious risk of death and injury. The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System has tracked only 1-10% of adverse reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine and yet over 18,000 deaths due to the vaccine have been reported in less than 9 months. With another two years to go in clinical trials it is not yet known what the long term dangers are on anyone let alone children. In fact during the FDA booster shot hearing on sept 17, 2021, Dr Paul Alexander noted the studies showing lipid nano particles of the vaccine are accumulating in the ovaries and the testes and spleen… that coupled with the animal model data that shows there’s a drop in fertility … it is clear there is not enough safety data available to force children to take this. Especially when adolescent males are 70x more likely to suffer a heart condition post-vaccination. And when Dr. Kirsch revealed that the Pfizer data indicated that 2 people are killed by the COVID shots to save 1 life—any discussion of mandates should have been done. This data coupled with the fact children have a 100% recovery rate after COVID—at this time a COVID vaccine in children is more dangerous than the virus itself.
