Like many have mentioned, the statistics on hospitalization and death for children under 12 (especially in our region) is extremely low and does not warrant a state-wide mandate on a vaccine that has been linked to myocarditis in youth.

The Catholic Church should be doing everything possible to protect families and safeguard parents' role and responsibility to make health care decisions for their own children. On that basis alone, the mandates are unjust. But further, most children have the equivalent risk of sickness or spreading COVID to a VACCINATED 30 year old. This is a tyrannical "solution" to the non-existent problem of children being a COVID risk. There is no medical benefit to placing the risks of en masse vaccination onto children. Parents can decide for themselves if that is best for their child on a case-by-case basis.

My 27 yr. old brother felt forced to get the Pfizer vaccine to keep his job at Saddleback Hospital as a nurse. The doctor sent him to the ER this week confirming that the vaccine is causing my brother to have heart issues. There is no way I will give my 4 children this shot. They will be removed from Catholic schools, if you don't stop this mandate. I pray you do the right thing and protect our families.

This is no longer Republican versus Democrat, Conservative versus liberal, unvaccinated versus vaccinated, this is good versus evil. I pray that you open your eyes , Your ears, and your heart to the truth. It is evil to mandate this Abortion tainted jab onto people. You have a chance to say no to this evil and do what is right. Do not allow that mandated jab, And take the masks off our children. You have an opportunity to stand up Against this evil and do what is right We pray that you do the right thing

I am vaccinated and am pro vaccine but VERY VERY anti mandate. Especially for children! There is no risk to children as ALL of the 371 cases where people under 18 have dies of this have had other co morbidities. There were 800 children last year that dies from pneumonia and over 600 in 2018 that dies from the flu. This risk of both vaccine and the virus are very low but for children the risk of the vaccine, although low, is far higher than the risk of the virus. We need to use our God given intelligence. All the vaccines were produced using fetal stem cells. The person at Pfizer who leaked internal emails has been fire, the person who lied and deceived the public is still employed.

We are supposed to line our children up for a medication without longitudinal data because a POLITICAN told us to? Our children have almost ZERO risk from the virus...no one knows what the risks are from the vaccines. (According to CDC, Nationwide deaths: 478 out of 73,100,000 under 18, 95% of those had significant comorbidities, Survival rate for children 0-18 = 99.998%). Allowing my teenager to drive a car is significantly more dangerous than contracting COVID. Let us not be driven by fear or by politicians.
