Our WA400P is 2 1/2 years old and rust all around and under bleach compartment. I'm trying to get Samsung to replace defective machine but they told me to contact lowes. We are very unhappy.

Rusting where the water enters above the detergent dispenser has gotten so bad that paint is now falling off in chunks and clothes are being ruined.

Paid $999.oo (hard earned $) for a SAMSUNG washer 15 months ago and it is rusting around bleach dispenser tray. What a bummer this is not good. Also.. damn thing wont turn on unless you unplug it then hold down on button for 30 seconds. I am an idiot for buying a SHAMSUNG.

I purchased my washer about 2 years ago. I noticed some rust about six months into owning it and called Sears. Was told rust is not covered. Now the rust is spreading.

Samsung washer purchased Dec. 2011. totally rusted lech despenser housing. Required scraping sanding and pain, but still happening.

2.5 years old and completely rusted through. I was hung up on after being told it was caused by bleach usage. I have never over poured or allowed bleach to sit on surface mostly because I didn't want to damage colour clothing.

I had purchased a Samsung Top loading washing machine from Best Buy a little over 3 years ago. After 18 mos, I noticed rust at the bleach dispenser, on the lid hinges and also on the top of the base of the machine. I am extremely careful with how I pour bleach into the dispenser and always wipe the area, dry. I had purchased an extended warranty from Best Buy at the time of purchase. I called the Geek Squad, and they sent a service technician out and he replaced the top of the machine only. He advised Samsung probably used inferior paint, which is why many of these machines are rusting out. After another year, I began to experience the same issue. As I am a shareholder in Best Buy, I contacted the CEO, only to have my complaint sent to a flunky in their consumer relations department, who told me to buy CLR- Completely Clueless. They refuse to contact Samsung. I am in a quagmire as they will not replace nor fix the issue. I will never buy fa Samsung product again, nor shop in Best Buy. I do plan on being at the next shareholders meeting. I am in the process of contacting my attorney.

I have a 3 year old Samsung top load washer WA5451ANW. I have rust in the metal housing around the bleach dispenser that is not covered by the warranty. It's considered cosmetic. I am unable to remove the bleach dispenser to treat the area. The machine is squeaking when agitating. Inspecting under the cover with a flashlight, one of the drum rods is very badly rusted and collars are worn. I see other metal parts also rusting. I will NEVER buy Samsung products again. I have photos to share, but cannot copy them into this petition.
