Samsung washers with rusting bleach dispensers

rusted around bleach dispenser and lid within the 3rd year now 5 years old and worthless

WA5471AB Top Loader - purchased March 2012 - extensive rust around the plastic bleach compartment, the lid hinge areas and beginning around the metal edges around the glass top. Appears the raw cut-metal edges did not receive any anti-corrosion treatment. BTW - the instructions specifically state that the Bleach compartment is for liquid chlorine bleach; color-safe, non-chlorine bleaches should be added to the detergent compartment.

Awful washer! Rusting in several places and does not clean clothes!!

Machine is less than 3 years old and is rusting around the bleach dispenser and where the latch is for the top.

We bought our top load HE Samsung washer less than 4 years ago, and the metal around the bleach dispenser is completely rusted. It's gotten to the point where chunks of rusted paint are ending up all over our clothes. I'm worried that we'll have to purchase a new machine!

My washer is 3 years 3 months oold and the rust around the rim is very bad. I called Samsung and they do not care.

I've had a Samsung washer for 5 years now and it has slowly started to rust around the bleach dispenser. I want to know what you are going to do about it.

Bleach dispenser is rusting.

Machine is just shy of 2 years old and the area surrounding the bleach dispenser is completely rusted. The last problem is expected to have with a new washing machine is rust!!

My bleach dispenser is not rusting but the area surrounding the detergent is really rusting at the top. It's 3 years old and when I called for service for the bleach dispenser not emptying I was told that Samsung considers Rust to be cosmetic and not covered under the warranty. Never again Samsung. What kind of customer service is this.

Purchased what I considered to be the best product and paid an amount that I one would think that the product and brand name would uphold it's product. This item should not be rusting. Highly disappointed.
