Samsung says "Please note that physical damages and cosmetic damages (like Rust) are not covered under warranty. " What good is a washer that can't get wet.

We have had our washer for 3 years and have had no problems with it functioning but the area around the bleach dispenser has rusted horribly. I also have seen a small amount of rust at the detergent dispenser but not nearly as bad as at the bleach dispenser.

We purchased the washing machine in late 2011 and the bleach and detergent dispensers are rusting. I contacted samsung and they said without an extended warranty I would have to pay for the repairs. Will not buy a samsung washer again. Diane W, United States, Carmel

I purchased a samsung high efficiency top load washing machine 10/2011 and the metal around the bleach dispenser is rusting. I have also noticed rust stains appearing where the detergent goes. I contacted samsung and was told without a extended warranty I would have to pay for the repairs. Very unhappy and will not buy samsung again. Diane W, United States, Carmel, Ca

At least they should provide a solution to make it look better. We no longer use the dispenser but rust area is growing.

Bleach dispenser full of rust, water accumulates in the dispenser. I have never used the bleach dispenser, but it has always had moisture in it. Washer purchased in 2012. I have contacted Samsung twice, and there position is that it it cosmetic. I have not and will not purchase anything from Lowe's as result of this.

I have rust around the bleach dispenser of my samsung washing machine that was purchased in 2012. There is also rust on the underside of the lid near the hinges, which is not near the bleach dispenser, so could not be caused by bleach.

Samsung top load washer is rusting around the plastic bleach dispenser. Washer is only 2 years old.

My 2011 Samsung WA5471AB Bleach Dispenser is rusting out under the plastic housing. Customer Service (Lowes) is unable to deal with the issue. We also purchased an extended warrantly which the bleach dispenser is not covered. They appear to have a design and material selection problem in the way in which the Plastic Bleach Dispenser is able to deal with the corrosive nature of Chlorine Bleach!!! I guess Maytag has more experience in design and selecting materials around Chlorine Bleachs corrosive nature!

The whole top of the inside drum is rusted...I can't wash whites any longer.
