Bleach dispenser area began to rust after just one year as a small line and getting bigger everyday. Extended warranty from Lowe's don't cover it. They say it's just cosmetic!

I was told this was a cosmetic issue which is absurd. Not only do I see rusting around the bleach dispenser which is getting worse but I see rust spots when I open the soap dispensing unit. I will be filing a small claims case against Samsung.

My washer is rusting around the bleach dispenser, it seems to be a problem with these machines, is samsung doing anything about it? It started rusting after only a year!! Thats ridiculous!

My bleach drape see is rusting as well as above the detergent and fabric softener dispenser. Rust spots get on my whites when I wash them. Very frustrating!

Rusted after first year. Cannot find a replacement part to swap it out. Stopped using chlorine bleach for now. Rust has developed in multiple places.

My first...AND LAST Samsung appliance. I've owned Kenmore and Maytag and they "wore" out not rusted out!

Also purchased an extended warranty from Best Buy and since Samsung claims it is cosmetic Best Buy is not willing to cover it either. Tried to purchase the part from Samsung and replace the top at my own expense but they don't even offer a replacement part.

I have the same problem and both Samsung and Best Buy won't do anything about it. I even have an extended Best Buy warranty and they say it's just cosmetic!
