This is ridulous! I have had my washer around three years so why should it rust? and the Samsung rep essentially said they will not do anything about it/ Stick to televisions and cell phones, Samsung! You cannot make durable goods!

Purchases in 2012 and began to rust within 9 months. I have to keep an eye on it so that it doesn't stain my clothes some day.

Washer is 2.5 yrs old. It is rusting near the bleach dispenser. We have also had to replace the 4 suspension rods at our cost and will need to replace the drum due to it being out of round.

Model WA50F9A6DSW/A2 has rust develping around bleach dispenser. Also, the washer controls on front will no longer work. Only able to set for a specific load an hit start. Can't change temp, etc. Unit is just out of warranty. Samsung said rust is not covered and suggested get cleaning products from local hardware store to clean the rust. Samsung is ripping people off. Never purchase another Samsung product! Buy USA.

This machine is so disappointing I can't begin to explain. I've cleaned it and run pure cycles on it more than I've cleaned clothes in it and the results are still horrible. It's rusting ever where. It washes poorly and the drum traps odor

I purchased the Samsung WA5471ABWXAA01 from Best Buy with extended warranty. I also have significant rust around the Bleach dispenser and the soap dispensing unit. Best Buy won't cover it as it is considered "Cosmetic".
