I am having the same problem with my bleach dispenser of my Samsung washer. I had only had my washer for less than 3 years when I started noticing it. I did wipe it clean after using bleach and it still rusted. I think it's sad because other than that I like my washer. However, I will not buy another one.

Rust on my samsumg machine of 3 yrs unbeliebale Why would any compnay use parts that would rust in a washer machine??? I can't get over comsumer reports rated this machine so well .

Yes, rust at the dispensing unit. Just ruined a $100.00 shirt and not comfortable using the machine to "CLEAN" anything.

My washing machine is 2 years old. It is rusting around the bleach dispenser. This is the first time I have owned a Samsung washing machine. I am very disappointed. I recently purchased a new dryer. I did not purchase a Samsung dryer. I was talking to a salesperson about my washer rusting. He said Samsung doesn't show what the machine is made of exactly. He stated that they come out with a new model every 2 years. He said when they do this, they quit making parts for the old model. This creates getting repair parts very difficult to find when your machine requires a repair. Best advice is don't buy Samsung if you are looking for a new washer or dryer.

Washer is less than three years old and the around the bleach dispenser it's rusting badly... This needs to be fixed. You can also see rust occasionally on the draw you pull out to place fab softener and detergent in. It's a the point the paint is trying to chip around the bleach dispenser.

My washer is about 2 1/2 year old, it is rusted around the bleach dispenser and on the front of the machine where the top mounts on the base. I can't believe after a short period of time that my washer would be rusting from the inside out. Very frustrating and disappointing.

My Samsung is 2.5 years old and bleach dispenser and soap dispenser are rusting. Not a happy customer.
