Top of washer is completely rusted through and now has a hole around bleach dispenser. Completely unacceptable for a product at this price point.

My 5+ year old Samsung top loading washer has just started resting around the bleach tray. I so seldom use bleach that I'm appalled at all the pics of rust damage on people's machines. My problem is rust under the rim, especially right above the detergent dispenser tray. There's so much funky rust mixed with liquid detergent that I'm finding rust on my white sheets and towels all the time. This started about 4 years ago. It's so hard to pull items out of the washer without touching this area and getting rust on my clothes. I'd like to get a whole new top for my washer if that would get rid of the rust under the rim! Besides the rust issues, I really do like my Samsung washer and dryer.
