Samsung washers with rusting bleach dispensers

My washer starting rusting after 1.5 years. I have never experienced this before, very disappointed. I was told it was not covered!

Same problem...thought it was just our machine but rust started around bleach dispenser and is spreading to other areas on the top

rusting on my samsung washer started a couple of years after i purchased it.now the entire drum is rusting and coroding.i called customer service about it and a person told me the warranty did not cover a cosmetic problem.asked me if i left the lid up or down.that shouldn't have mattered to me.they know that washer is and was a defective product.

I purchased my machine in November 2016 and it is rusting.

I thought I was alone . Very disappointed machine wasn't cheap .

Second top beginning to rust around bleach dispenser. First top was replaced due to this problem.

Samsung needs to take responsibility, let the name samsung sink in when buying appliances and electronics.

This washer is ruining my linens and towels. I run and air bnb.

Contacted Samsung online, they acted like they have never heard of such a problem before. Now I find that they've known about it for years. I'll never see the samsung brand in my properties again.
