My washing machine is rusted and chipping away not only at the bleach cup but all the way around the whole top of the machine. Also chipping into and causing rust stains in my laundry.

Purchased a washer in oct 2015 the whole bleach dispenser has rusted and is staining my clothes. Home depo said it’s cosmetic and not covered under my warranty.

Rust at bleach dispenser as well as detergent/soften. It appears the entire top of the machine is rusted. Samsung declines to cover. Purchased Dec 2016.

My washer is rusting around liquid detergent and softener area. Pain has chipped and under it is totally rusted out the rust is now breaking and falling into wash tub.

The part to replace rusted area costs from 165 to 200 dollars not including installation.
Consumers need protection from this type of fraudulent practices

When it first happened, I applied some rust killer and paint. The problem returned because the rust then came from under the bleach dispenser. It is now almost rusted out.

Rust around the bleach dispenser and also in between the top molding and body of washer. This machine was highly rated in Consumer Reports. Very disappointing!!! Machine is only 6 years old and was rusting by 3 years old.

Rust in and around bleach dispenser as well as the other side, in between the top and bottom pieces of the machine. This machine had a recall on it that was fixed, then it broke down and we were without it for a month until they could finally fix it so it would work. Now this. Should not happen with such an expensive machine. Ridiculous!
