We the undersigned support Parish Councils proposals for Wellhouse Dell and the Salter’s Field area. The facts of the proposals Carry out a detailed survey of the Dell to establish existing flora and fauna on this old quarry site. Health and safety advice is that much of this area is potentially a bad risk for public use. In-fill part of the Dell on the East side of Watling St with inert material, this will generate income which will be used as follows. Build a new access road to the Car Park from Watling St via Salters Field. The current access is dangerous and not fit for purpose. Extend the Car Park by approx. 50 spaces, not tarmac, but similar to the present hard standing. Cultivate a new cricket square and at least one additional rugby pitch. Landscape the new public area that was the Dell and Salter’s Field. Both Radlett Cricket and Tabard Rugby Clubs cannot accommodate all the players, spectators and cars, particularly the under 16’s on Sunday mornings, because of space constraints.
