Continuing the Thornton Creek admission preference is good for both the TC and Salmon Bay communities. Please extend this important option.

Continuing the Thornton Creek admissions preference for Salmon Bay makes sense for many reasons. Not least of which: the preference provides the only pathway for families who've chosen Thornton Creek's disctinctive approach. The historical relationshiup between Thornton Creek and Salmon Bay is important and well-documented. The preference has served families and the district well for many years. Where's the downside? Please continue the preference. Thanks.

Please support alternative track education for those students who would flourish better under such circumstances. The Salmon Bay preference strengthens that opportunity.

As a teacher at Thornton Creek, I think it is imperative that our students get a chance to continue their alternative education through middle school.

Please continue the Salmon Bay preference for Thonton Creek. Thornton Creek & Salmon Bay are most closely unified in methodologies & the union is least impact change for TC students that all kids struggle with went entering middle school. Thank you!

I strongly support the continuation of the Thornton Creek preference. I think it is a win-win situation. I feel our Thornton Creek students are more likely to thrive in the culture that Salmon Bay than the other public schools, so it's important for their ability to continue to grow and develop. AND I think it's hugely beneficial to have Thornton Creek Students at Salmon Bay. I assert they are "generally" of the "kinder/gentler" nature and make a difference with their classmates here. I am a parent of 2 girls who've benefited from this preference and would have had a very tough time at Eckstein.
