There's no need to over pay these Lawmakers who goes to office twice a week and play ZUMA all day. Let Doctors and health workers, teachers and other important civil servants position salaries be as attractive as possible. Doctors should be highly paid than law makers or equal to them and at this people would value education, but now onces you can shout the loudest battle cry and you decides to run for Lawmakers position, you get it and with an empty head starts to earn almost 8 times more than the doctors and educated people who spend more time studying earns as a reward of our education and service.

I worked as a staff at the House of Representatives and the reason I support this cause is to end the continue suffering of the common Liberian. They are paid to inact laws that improves the wellbeing on all Liberians but they are not doing so because the more the masses are poor they(the masses) keep running back to them for everything. Through that means they have always justified their unnecessary salaries and benefits.

Lawmakers should not make more than US$ 5,000 per month and should be given transport allowances of not more than US$ 1,500 per month to take car loans to finance car purchases over a period of 36 months. After that, the allowances should be cut off.
