We need to have the right to decide. We need to be able to have control over what happens to where we live.

We pay 63% of the taxes. We should have the right to decide how our islands are developed. That includes SSI and Sea Island. Just let us vote yes or no.

Incorporation is of paramount importance. Keep the tax dollars and decisions here and WE will decide what's best for us and our lovely island community.

Island residents should be allowed to vote to control what happens on the island. Saint Simons has been the piggybank for the county for too long!

Do not be fooled by letting our legislators convince us into a township. Incorporation is the only solution under a Township Development can still be overruled by the County commissioners and we will still have no control over crime, water and sewer the lack of maintenance of infrastructure. The simple fact is St. Simons is paying for 70% percent of the County taxes and gets 20% of the benefit. Commissioner Stambaugh takes his $10 million for his airport Commissioner Strickland takes his $3 million for Sam's Club Brunswick high school take $60 million for their facility meanwhile our kids are Dragged around the county to play on the fields and gymnasiums which we don't have. Our beaches are overrun with riffraff and drunkards. Our homes and cars are broken into on a daily basis while the police do nothing. This needs to stop as does the prejudice against Saint Simons residents from mainlanders.
