These changes proposed are unjust and unfair, especially for houses that are built post WW2!!! What authority has the right to dictate these changes? Focus on real problems in the city, not harassing our diverse neighborhood!

As a former chair of the Historic Preservation Board, I think the historic designation should be rescinded because it is not applied uniformly. When the city wants to demolish or build something, they overturn the HPB's rulings.

Living in an historic home already restricts a homeowners decision making freedoms...we don't need to make it more difficult for them by taking taking those limitations even further.

The City must encourage growth and opportunity in our community by implementing the same rules that apply to the neighboring communities and eliminate the extra layer of oversite that thwarts the progress and beautification that can be realized in the community by lifting restrictions and allowing the property owners to invest reasonably to improve properties and attract investors.
