SAG HARBOR BOARD OF EDUCATION TO:
1. Follow professional board practices outlined by the National School Board Association manual, "The Key Work of School Boards” and NY State law.
2.
Publicly examine the concerns brought up by the recent resignations and implement necessary reforms to insure a respectful and effective approach to governing.
3. Commit to open communication, transparent governance and continuing education for its members to better serve the public and our children.

I have been hearing from so many of you who are just as worried as I am about the direction our school board is taking. It is clear that we are all looking for the same thing which is a commitment to the basic standards of decency and rule of law that our children deserve.

The momentum behind this request proves how many of our neighbors share the same deep concern for the future of our local schools. Seeing this level of engagement confirms that our community expects more transparency and accountability from those in leadership.

Just want to know why so many people are leaving. It doesnt make sense unless something is very wrong.

seriously what is going on over there?? do your jobs and stop creating drama for the kids teachers and taxpayers.
About time someone spoke up. The way things are being handled is unprofessional and honestly embarrassing for sag harbor.
Enough is enough. The constant turnover is crazy and it makes the whole district look bad. We need people who actually know how to run a board.
