let the girl stay. there are plenty of illegal immigrants who have been herre not just weeks but months who dont get forced back so why force this poor girl who has worked very hard for what she has achieved. This girl needs to stay where home is home for her.

Can't believe the cold-hearted responses of this, and previous Governments, towards this brave and selfless girl. The hypocracy of the Government when they allow foreigners who marry EU nationals to enter and settle here.

I know the family and feel that Christelene should be allowed to live, work and represent british cricket. She has a British mother and has been supported by british people all these years. Others, with much lesser rights and reasons to stay here are allowed to, so why not this girl.

It seems ridiculous to deport someone who has spent so many of her adolescent years in Britain. Now that she is an adult, she clearly has the capability to contribute to the economy. Deporting her is an illogical waste of Tax Payers' money.

I believe that she shouldn't be deported as apart from the obvious unfairness it is also a waste of all the money spent on her education and should she be allowed to complete her studies she will be able to make a great contribution to our country.

Disgusted we open the gates to peoe who have no ties with this country nor any proved benifit to our social society yet a person that has worked to be british and can not only talk english but who has a english education and thst would work and benifit our country
