The width of Safflower Way at the intersection with Compass Pointe Wynd is very narrow. It is hard to turn into Safflower Way when it is occupied by a car (or truck) turning out from Safflower Way.

Yes, something needs to be done there. It’s just a matter of time somebody will be getting hurt or killed and I hate to see it happen and then something gets done. It needs to be done immediately.

I cross the road frequently when walking my dog.

Westlake. This intersection is already extremely dangerous to both pedestrians and vehicle drivers. It will continue to get worse as more homes are completed in Timber Ridge and North Ridge. A 3-way stop intersection with ADA approved pedestrian ramps and crosswalks are desperately needed needed.

I strongly urge the board to consider our safety and make a three-way stop and an ADA compliance sidewalk. Too many cars and trucks travel this area at speeds above the designated speed limit. The stop signs will slow down the speed and allow us to safely walk across and Compass Pointe south. Thank you for considering this request.
