I am also a victim of bag snatching some years back and I feel the trauma is overwhelming. This needs to change

I have been affected by theft, assault and sexual assault more times than I can count over the last five years in Saigon with no help at all from the local police who seem to want to do nothing to support foreign women from the constant feeling of being unsafe. It's time the Embassy's started to help and support their citizens from these aweful crimes and make the streets safer for everyone.

I've lived in HCMC for nearly four years and adore this city. However, it will not reach the potential it strives for without basic infrastructures for safety and a responsive legal system. Now and in the future, people will decide whether or not to visit/move /bring their business here partly based on its reputation for public safety and a responsive police force.

We need these crimes of harassment towards women to stop. Let us go through our day without having to wonder if we’ll be safe or not.

I don't feel safe in Saigon walking by myself. I got assaulted once in Tanh Binh District and by a grab driver around Bui Vien. Please do something.

Please keep the streets safe and help the victims to find justice. I was a victim of theft and when I reported crime to the police, I never heard any feedback from them after
