One time my dad visited a relative in HCMC. Whilst waiting for him to open the door, my dad was facetiming my mum. And in a wee blink of an eye, his phone was snatched! Mum and I were on the other end of the phone heard the motor engine approaching and the screen turned black. My dad then took his other phone to ring us and let us know what had just happened. It’s insane. I don’t quite get why the streets in Saigon have been felt unsafe for a very long time now and no policy or actions have been properly taken to resolve these?

I also been a victim in last January, going back hame from airport, someone in a motorcycle stole my phone, and i use my phone case as a wallet for ATM card and little cache, luckily i already ordered grab and use ATM to pay Grab automatically before the incident otherwise i would stuck near the airport with no phone no money to go home

Should have built more tourist stand with english speaking policeman in tourist spot and more CCTV at housing area

I was attacked a month ago at night, and many of my friends have been stalked to been victims of attempted robbery, especially girls. This need to stop.
