Our streets are already congested with more and more cars. How much more can we stand. We used to be a wonderful small community and now we are bursting with unnecessary growth.

We simply cannot add more traffic congestion to our community. Just this week it was demonstrated with the resurfacing of Penasquitos Dr. how easily the system can be overwhelmed. In the event of an event of an emergency, exiting the area would be a disaster.

This is a terrible idea and would impact the safety of the existing community in times of emergency.

The ingress and egress in North PQ in and around Rolling Hills Elementary School area is already a safety concern. Adding a new housing development will serve to greatly exacerbate the safety situation of the current area residents, as well as any new residents. Keep the Open Space as it was originally zoned and intended...as an Open Space!

I do not agree with the development of the open space. There is already limited access in/out of the community. In cases of an emergency (we have been here during fire evacuations), this is a grave concern.

I totally agree with petition. Very concerned with ability to get in and out of the northern area with one road access in case of a disaster. The road cannot accommodate the number of cars that would be going in and out just on a daily basis.

PQ Planning Board is at it again! Thinking of themselves and their prosperity! Where is the safety going to be for those living in that community now if this goes through? I live on the other end of PQ and know how hard it is to get out in case of a disaster such as fires. Why put these people in danger as well as those who might live in the proposed new development?????.

I grew up in this neighborhood. It was designed specifically for this open space. These are The Fairway homes. The community is not designed to accommodate housing on this space. Not to mention, it would turn the beautiful landscape it to a horrid site

I have been a resident of this neighborhood for 19 years and concur with the safety concerns expressed by other signers of this petition. It took my family more than an hour to evacuate due to the Witch Creek fire. Additional homes coupled with a forced evacuation in the event of a fire in the Black Mountain Open Space would create a clear danger to residents of the neighborhood.

I've been a Penesquitos homeowner for 32 years. I'm adamantly opposed to development of the former golf course designated open space for all the reasons enumerated in this petition.

No more homes please, we have really limited resources as it is, any more would further endanger the community.

Simple, routine morning drop off and pick up at the elementary school, already causes traffic concerns.

I wouldn't want anymore traffic in the neighborhood...we live at the very end of the neighbor so in case of emergency, i would be really hard for us to get out with already many cars/ppl...more would be a disaster for us!

Adding this many cars on our "one way out" street would be irresponsible and dangerous.
