Safety at Decatur & Grand Teton

I'm sure that all of us in the communities that border the eastern side of the property would prefer to keep the zoning R-E. The proposed 7-11 and bar are not conducive to the surrounding environment and will only add to noise and the potential rise in crime in the area.

We do not need a bar/ tavern backing up against our homes and down the street from the high school.

Please don't re-zone Decatur/Grand Teton. We don't need or want all of these commercial businesses in such close proximity to our homes. Don't we get a vote as homeowners who purchased homes in this area?

Keep it a family friendly neighborhood. We don't need any more commercial developments in the area.

Keep the area residential. We have plenty of options on Decatur and 215 or at Aliante and 215.

Keep it residential. Shopping/dining is close at the 215 and Decatur.

Why o. Earth would you even try to put a bar where there are tons of kids all day long? Several schools are in the immediate area as well- this would be a risk, a hazard, a problem for kids, and families for sure. Please Find Another Location.

Too many families have young children that play outside or walk to and from school for there to be an establishment that is serving alcohol on its premises. You are putting the safety of children at risk. We bought our house due to the fact it's NOT backed up against commercial property!

I don’t want a business in the middle of this neighborhood I believe there will be safety issues

We are against the commercial development. We want in to stay residential. 4712 Arizona Rosewood Ave./ Westwind neighbor.

There is no necessity for more commercial zoning on this parcel as there are many available undeveloped commercial lots less than a mile south on Aliante.

We are a land governed by law. We bought our home based on this fact. You can't change the rules after the fact. I oppose this rezoning

Builiding stores, restaurants and a bar establishments are not necessary at this location,it will cause nuisance, traffic and crimes. I am here to petition NOT to build commercial buildings NE corner of Grand Teton and Decatur.

I support an residential only plan!! And definitely no buses. That’ll just bring in the homeless. No thank you.

I fear for the safety of my elementary school children when walking to and from school. They are too close to be zoned for a bus and therefore have to walk directly in front of this area. Please stop this rezoning.

I highly disapprove of moving forward with a commercial development at this corner; especially a tavern. Also, there is a convenience store/gas station less than a mile up the street. There is no need for another one. What we really need is another grocery store or park. Keep our neighborhoods/ backyards free from gaming!

Purchased in our location knowing the zoning is residential. This type of establishment cause concerns for the safety and peacefulness of our neighborhood. Do not allow this.
