Improve safety at junction of Astwood Road and Bilford Road

Very dangerous junction for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.

I have 2 young children who I walk to school with and I find it difficult sometimes even frightening to cross the road with them as the flow and speed of traffic is continuous, please put in speed bumps or a pedestrian crossing!!

This junction has always been busy & dangerous, but more so since the traffic has increased following the development of the nearby retail units. This junction is currently not safe for drivers, cyclists or pedestrians. Many drivers are driving in excess of the 30 mph, especially around the blind bend.

Very difficult junction to navigate. Authorities should be putting in measures to assist pedestrians.

This junction is very scary to use and I am able to cross quickly - its very frightening for the elderly. Its especially difficult to cross coming away from the shop - traffic comes so quickly from the blind righthand side. What about speed humps, then traffic would have to slow a bit.

As a motorist, this is an exceedingly dangerous junction which needs to have a new solution speedily put in place.

We moved out of the Bilford Road area a few years ago after 27 years and this junction has got more and more dangerous as the years have passed!!

I had an accident at this junction when 7 months pregnant. Someone pulling out of bilford road crashed into me after I had pulled out of my road (Woodland Road)

I use this junction every week day to take my son to perdiswell. Because of the safety issue for the children crossing the road i always stop to let them cross safely. Twice I have nearly been hit at the rear by other cars whist I did this.

I cross this road every day with my children and always feel like it’s so dangerous as the cars drive along at much faster speeds than 30mph.

I drive and walk this junction every day and i think it is very dangerous. Considering there are 2 schools in close proximity.

We need a roundabout at this junction.. highly dangerous for all

Awful junction now, just think how uch worse it may get get if planners concrete over Perdiswell!

Everyday my daughter walks to school from our home to Tudor grange and every day I worry if she is safe crossing the road. Something needs to be done to protect the safety of these children.
