To restore bridleways for the exclusive use of horses and riders, push-bikes and walkers; and footpaths exclusively for walkers by designating separate specific rights of way for 4 x 4 vehicles and motor bikes, therefore protecting the safety of horses and people on their own rights of way and preventing further damage to our ancient droves by 4 x 4 vehicles and motorbikes. Currently many riders are being forced to ride on roads because bridleways have been taken over by groups of motorbike riders and 4 x 4 vehicles.
The great majority of motorbike riders, notably members of the Trail Riders Association, are extremely polite and considerate when meeting horses and riders on their legal rights of way which they both share (called 'Byways Open To All Traffic' or 'BOATS'). However, when asked, the motorbikers invariably say that their sport would be much more enjoyable if they could use a legal route exclusively.

Too dangerous now. I stopped taking my daughter out because of the traffic on the paths.
My horse has been spooked way too many times by dirt bikes coming around corners at speed. It is supposed to be a place to relax not a race track.
Sick of dodging quads when I am out walking the dog. Enough is enough.
The ground is just getting destroyed. Those 4x4s leave massive ruts that are dangerous for everyone else trying to walk or ride in the mud.
Totally agree. Seems like common sense to separate them so everyone can actually enjoy themselves without accidents.
