As a resident of Columbia Rd for almost 15 years, I believe this project is long overdue. We'll never reach Vision Zero without crucial projects like this one.

Columbia Road is always snarled with traffic and people drive *insane* when they break free of it (especially between 17th and 16th). I avoid it as a driver, biker, and pedestrian in its current state and the buses move so slow through there. It needs change and I support this effort to speed transit and bikers through (and I think cars will benefit because people won't be able to double park!).

I live on Lanier Pl and traverse this section of Columbia almost daily. I am in support of improving this street for bicycles, pedestrians, and buses. I believe these plans will do this.

Please make Columbia Road safer! I bike along it to work everyday, down southwest from 16th St, and too regularly have close calls where cars don't see me.

I am sick and tired or the extent of privilege local residents exert to kill beneficial projects for their own petty interests. Making the city more public transportation/pedestrian/cycling friendly should be an imperative to make the city more livable and sustainable.

This is one of the most choked out roads in the city, it's not safe for cyclists or drivers and buses and emergency vehicles are frequently trapped in traffic which causes unsafe drivers to weave around them and endanger pedestrians on the poorly designed crossings. It desperately needs dedicated lanes and a redesign to keep the road flowing.

I’m always afraid to ride my bike outside of 15th street and use busses as my main source of transportation. As a Reed-Cooke resident this project could really improve my quality of life.
