Smoking on the train and lack of seats due to people occupying more than one seat are the most obvious and obstructive issues that are impacting my desire to continue using CTA.

I Don't fill safe at all coming home from work at knight I fear 4 my safety of me hurting someone or someone hurting me, an it shouldn't have 2 be like that period just wanna have a safe an smooth ride no matter where I'm going .

I ride the redline daily. The amount of disrespect and disregard is disgusting. I shouldn't have to tolerate breathing in second cigarette or Marijuana smoke on a daily occurrence. Its ridiculous that absolutely nothing is being done to combat this behavior and offense.

How did New York, NY battle and resolve the issues and concerns? Many people travel via trains in New York and it's not bad like use to be always in the past.

This morning, there were several homeless people sleeping in the Red line car that I was in. No issue there, but one in particular verbally assaulted an Asian man about his ethnicity, sexually harassed a female passenger, and physically assaulted a male. He slapped the man with his glove, if it became worse than that, two other men were ready to restrain homeless man (it wasn't going to happen on my watch). Not the end of the world, but not a good look either. It's one thing to be homeless, but another thing when you are taking up all the space in the car, leaving all your trash everywhere, and verbally/physically assaulting other passengers .

I believe in safety for all riders and employees. I work in Public Relations and sometimes my high end celebrity clients want to try the train as posted on their social media. We Chicago need it safe.

Blue Line has guys openly doing hard drugs while riding the train, even in the early evening and middle of the day. The cigarette smoking is also terrible, and a health risk (can you say class action lawsuit, CTA?). 45 years ive ridden the CTA, never seen it this bad.

Improvements need to be done. Green line is horrible since pandemic. Dirty, homeless, smoking and drug use (in front of my child).
