Yes, schools need to start opening up. This "Remote Learning" has been a disaster for my son. His grades have plummeted and has become depressed as a result. I have been working in a dental office for the past 8 months now (pre vaccination) with no problems. If I can work in a dental office safely, teachers can go back to work in the classroom. Yes, prioritize vaccination of teachers and reduce class sizes. Also, aerosol mitigation can be managed by increasing ventilation (placing window fans blowing outward) and HEPA filtration in the classrooms in addition to upgrading HVAC system.

Teens are suffering just as much as elementary! Put the selfish nonsense aside and give kids their life back!

School is an essential service just like hospitals and law enforcement. There are plenty of evidence that schools can be reopened safely and it's time to take action now.

children need to go back to school, it will affect their development if they are away from social activities with their friends and alter the way the develop into adulthood. ultimately learning at home is less personal and teachers aren't there to keep kids engaged when they are looking into a computer screen. there are ways to have school in person while maintaining safe distant learning. for example smaller class room sizes, sectioned off recesses as in one group of kids go play for third minutes then the next group goes. A days and B days for example. indoor games that are sadly distant and maintained. teachers are trained to educate in a classroom environment not online environment.

please put stop to this hybrid model. kids are not super spreaders, the risk is the same as flu for them to spread the disease.

Our kids want to go BACK to school. I find it absurd that a block away kids are back in private or a different district! Get them back in school!
