PETITION FOR A #SAFEINDIA

To,

THE HON’BLE PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA,

WHEREAS,

We urge the Respected Prime Minister of India to look into forthwith, the changes required in the legal system for eradicating sexual harassment/ Rape cases in India.

At the same time, to have precautionary measures to protect innocent persons from false cases.

WE THE UNDERSIGNED, stand for the following :

1. To appoint separate and Special Courts/ Authority/ Wing / Fast track Courts, exclusively for handling only sexual harassment/ Rape cases in order to provide speedy trials and its outcome.
2. To establish Special Authorities/ Committees to create awareness in the society in respect of sexual harassment/ Rape cases and the consequences of the offence.
3. To carry amendments in the procedural and penal laws.
4. To make self defence as a compulsory subject in schools for girls since a primary age.
5. To make precautionary measures to protect innocent persons from false cases and malicious prosecution.

We the people of India, request for the above amendments in the legal system for a safe India.

Hence, this Petition for immediate consideration. Expecting early actions and reply.
