I am extremely disappointed in how St. Paul approached the plowing during the past 2 weeks of several storms with significant snowfall of well above 3 inches. Our neighborhood streets were not plowed for days. Several cars were stuck in streets, very unsafe for cars and pedestrians. We also had an influx of alley traffic as drivers were choosing to use alleys as main streets as they were plowed within hours of snowfall and provided an open route. Please provide better service for your residents.

The ability to reach my home in the city should not REQUIRE ownership of an SUV to park or drive on my street, pull a smaller car of ours from out of the snow on in front of my home, or out of my driveway in the alley in order to come and go from my home. Residents should not be forced to work from home (particularly if you can't work from home) due to heavy snowfall and unsafe streets. Please make snow removal on par with Minneapolis at the very least, or better. Our taxes are too high to have inferior services. It needs to be addressed swiftly.

I'm embarrassed to live in St Paul. Taxes are high and we are not getting basic services like safe streets that are plowed in a reasonable amount of (3 days of snow and not a plow in site). Snowyest February in years and they only plowed twice (actually 1 and a half since they only did half of our street)!
I shoveled out a half dozen cars that got stuck on our street over the last few days. Not safe!
Our mayor and city council need to be held accountable!

My trash and recycling isn't getting picked up on the dates it is supposed to because of poor plowing. So now I am paying for citywide trash service that is being affected by my tax dollars being used poorly.

The streets in my neighborhood are a mess and have been each winter that I have lived in St. Paul. It is unacceptable. I have lived in other states and cities where is snows a lot and the streets get plowed. Minneapolis has figured it out. I love St Paul, but the road maintenance guidelines must change.

I got stuck in the snow coming home from work on Tuesday and going to work on Wednesday. It was very frustrating!!!

We need some one that can make are streets safer and keep businesses open not shut down because the streets are so bad no one can park.

The roads are terrible. One problem is that the city appears to wait until snowfall is over to begin plowing. This means that during a prolonged fall, it is difficult, if not impossible, to get out. Meanwhile, the snow often gets packed down to ice that does not thaw for a long time. In the metro area and beyond, St Paul is known to have the worst reputation when it comes to plowing.

I work outside St Paul and many snowy days I can't get out of my street to go work even when the highways and streets in other area communities are clear. I'very been considering moving out of St Paul for the terrible services provided by the city.

St. Paul Public Works Dept. is the worst ever. Have lived here for 23 years and the plowing is the worst it has ever been. Very few snow emergencies this year and side streets are totally neglected. Scofflaws must be tagged and towed so streets can be plowed properly. St. Paul you must do better.

I've lived in the Upper Midwest most of my life, but moved to St. Paul three years ago. I just don't understand why the side streets aren't plowed in a timely manner -- if they can do it elsewhere, why not here?

My kids school street Bohland IS DANGEROUS. It’s DANGEROUS TO DRIVE MY KIDS TO SCHOOL. Unacceptable!

My neighborhood is hilly and impassable after any snowfall of 3” or more, even though we are only one block from St. Clair. It is hell for those of us who have mobility issues because of unshoveled snow, and the unplowed streets are impossible to navigate on crutches or in a boot or wheelchair.
