Please do a better job of keeping our city streets plowed and salted sooner!

Our streets are an embarrassment - not to mention unsafe.

It’s not just the residential streets. I needed to go to a business on Grand Ave the day after a snowfall (February 11) and the road had not been plowed to the curb. I couldn’t park along the street or I’d never get out!

Plows need to maintain the streets between snowfalls as well, there’s inches of loose snowy slush on top of an inch of ice. We live on a street mere blocks away from a public elementary school that buses continually drive on. It’s not safe.

Can we just burn the cars left on streets during snow emergencies since they rarely ever get ticketed and towed ?

There should have been residential plowing on Sunday 2/10 and not just on Tuesday 2/12. We we’re stuck on our street as we’re many others I saw. The snow fall on Sunday was even > than that on Tuesday so waiting to declare a snow emergency until Tuesday night was ill advised

Improve plowing, particularly side streets, and actually enforce snow emergencies.

I can’t get my elderly father with Parkinson’s disease to his appointments because I cannot get close enough to the curb and he slips on the snowy roads. It took three people to get him out of the car one day because he could not get traction on the snow. I was scared to pull him up too hard because his bones are frail and I was scared I would literally break his arm. His walker is useless in this stuff.

Please get to the inner residential neighborhoods they are always terrible for DAYS after a snow storm. My vehicle's suspension and front end is being destroyed trying to get through heavy thick snow all the time.

Would be nice if "snowbirds" were towed away when they're called in not just have them mark a tire and wait 3 days to do anything about it. Our neighbors from across the street keep parking their junk truck in front of our house and everytime the plow goes by we're just left with big snow/ice/slush bank in front od our house because they never move the truck.
